This interview was made with Alex Webster of CANNIBAL CORPSE after the No Mercy Festival 04 in Ludwigsburg/Germany, in the Rock Fabrik Ludwigsburg 07.04.2004.

It was cool to interview one of my fave bands! Alex was a very nice guy and it was cool that he took some time to talk right after the gig with me!

BTTG – Hi Alex, how is the tour going?

Alex – Killer, lots of great shows! And the other bands are all great.

BTTG – Are you satisfied with the clubs and the audience?

Alex - Yes, it can be difficult playing with so many bands, but we are doing well!

BTTG – Some favourite clubs, countries you prefer to play?

Alex – The show in Italy was amazing, also tonight! Really, all the shows were killer.

BTTG – Where are the best fans?

Alex – Everywhere!!

BTTG – Did some funny things happen on tour and what was the funniest, coolest or else thing?

Alex – One of the other bands shit in the bus toilet but I won’t say which band.

BTTG – You’re always on tour – is it more like a job or do you love to play like on your first gig?

Alex – I still love it, but some things about touring are hard and we miss our wives and girlfriends!

BTTG – What about groupies....??? :o)

Alex – Only for Pat and Jack! Ask them!

BTTG – Drugs or alcohol?

Alex – Yes, please!! Just kidding. We drink a little, that’s all.

BTTG – How are the reactions on your new CD?

Alex – So far every body likes it, but I’m sure somebody must hate it too. It’s the same with every album.

BTTG – I couldn’t listen to the promo because of a beep on it. Only the first song was possible!

Alex – The beeps were Metal Blade’s idea. Next time we won’t have beeps.

BTTG – Don’t have to ask if you’re satisfied with the work of Metal Blade till now, but....??

Alex - Metal Blade does a good job, but we always look for ways they could help us even more.

BTTG – Some info about Paths of Possession....

Alex – George is just helping them in the studio only, not for concerts.

BTTG – Are there some fave bands?!

Alex – MORBID ANGEL, IMMOLATION, SADUS, KRISIUN, ANGELCORPSE, SPAWN OF POSSESSION, DEFLESHED... and lots more.

BTTG – Do you know some European, German Death Metal bands?

Alex – SINNERS BLEED, NECROPHAGIST, DEW SCENTED. Also from Sweden SPAWN OF POSSESSION kicks ass and DECAPITATED from Poland.
