Eat Feed

A bare bones news feed aggregator.

Requires: gtk+ 2.0, WebKit-Gtk
(including the -devel stripes for the compilation process.)

If WebKit-Gtk or webkit-1.0 (package name may vary) is not installed, HTML rendering will be disabled. Optionally, libgtkhtml-2.0 can be used; the Makefile will pickup the best alternative from the selection of installed packages.

Supports: RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0.

Preamble: was frustrated with the brokenness of programs like Liferea and RSSOwl, and it seemed simpler to came up with my own basic program to extract the news feed than to deal with those small beasts.
